Weber Metal Wire Bristle Grill Brushes Recall
Weber is conducting a voluntary recall of certain metal wire bristle grill brushes due to an ingestion hazard. Metal bristles can detach from the brush during use, adhere to grill grates or food, and be ingested. Ingested bristles may cause serious internal injury requiring medical treatment, including surgery.
This recall involves the metal wire bristle grill brushes with plastic or bamboo handles measuring between 12 and 21 inches long, as shown above. The following model numbers are included in this recall and can be found on the product packaging: 6277, 6278, 6463, 6464, 6493, and 6494. Only brushes with these model numbers are part of this recall.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled grill brushes and register below for a cold cleaning nylon bristle grill brush replacement. Consumers will be asked to discard the recalled grill brushes AFTER their photo has been approved.
